ভারতে অধ্যয়নের জন্য শিক্ষাবৃত্তি (২০১৮-১৯)

ভারতীয় হাই কমিশন, ঢাকা আনন্দের সাথে ২০১৮-১৯ শিক্ষাবর্ষের জন্য ইন্ডিয়ান কাউন্সিল ফর কালচারাল রিলেশন্স (আইসিসিআর) শিক্ষাবৃত্তি ঘোষণা করছে। একমাত্র চিকিৎসা শাস্ত্র ছাড়া অন্য সব বিষয়ে স্নাতক, স্নাতকোত্তর এবং পিএইচডি পর্যায়ে পড়াশোনা করার জন্য মেধাবী বাংলাদেশী নাগরিকদের এই শিক্ষাবৃত্তি দেয়া হয়ে থাকে। ভারত সরকার এ পর্যন্ত প্রায় ৩০০০ বাংলাদেশী নাগরিককে আইসিসিআর শিক্ষাবৃত্তি দিয়েছে।

২০১৮-১৯ শিক্ষাবর্ষের জন্য স্নাতক, স্নাতকোত্তর এবং পিএইচডি পর্যায়ে (চিকিৎসা শাস্ত্র ছাড়া) বিভিন্ন কোর্সে পড়াশোনা করার জন্য নিম্নলিখিত বৃত্তি স্কিমগুলো দেয়া হচ্ছে-
১. বাংলাদেশ বৃত্তি স্কিম (প্রকৌশলসহ স্নাতক, স্নাতকোত্তর এবং পিএইচডি/পোস্ট ডক্টরাল কোর্সের জন্য);
২. ভারত বৃত্তি স্কিম (প্রকৌশল ছাড়া স্নাতক, স্নাতকোত্তর এবং
পিএইচডি/পোস্ট ডক্টরাল কোর্সের জন্য);

বৃত্তি পেতে ইচ্ছুক প্রার্থীদের ইংরেজি ভাষায় দক্ষ হতে হবে এবং পাশকৃত পরীক্ষায় কমপক্ষে ৬০ শতাংশ নম্বর অথবা জিপিএ ৫ এর মধ্যে ৩ থাকতে হবে। আগ্রহী শিক্ষার্থীদের অনলাইনে আবেদন করার জন্য https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.inএই ঠিকানায় নিজেদের ব্যক্তিগত লগইন আইডি ও পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি করে নিতে হবে। আবেদনকারীদের নির্দেশনাগুলো পড়ে অনলাইনে আবেদন করতে অনুরোধ করা যাচ্ছে। অনলাইনে আবেদনের সময় আবেদনকারীকে নিম্নোক্ত বিষয়গুলো লক্ষ্য রাখতে হবে;
ক) যারা BE/B Tech. কোর্সের জন্য আবেদন করবেন তাদের স্কুল-কলেজের পাঠ্যসূচীতে অবশ্যই পদার্থবিদ্যা, গণিত ও রসায়ন অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকতে হবে।
খ) আবেদনকারীর বয়স অবশ্যই জুলাই ২০১৮ এর মধ্যে ১৮ হতে হবে।
গ) সব শিক্ষার্থীকে হোস্টেলে থাকতে হবে। পরিবার ও স্বাস্থ্যসংক্রান্ত কারণ ছাড়া বাইরে অবস্থান করা যাবে না।

অনলাইনে আবেদন জমা দেয়ার শেষ সময় ২০ জানুয়ারি, শনিবার বিকেল ৫.০০টা। প্রার্থীদের ৩০ মিনিটের ইংরেজিতে দক্ষতা যাচাইয়ে অংশ নিতে হবে যার সময় ও স্থান জানিয়ে দেয়া হবে ।

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDY IN INDIA (2018-19)

As in the past, the High Commission of India, Dhaka is pleased to announce the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Scholarships for the academic session 2018-19. The scholarships are awarded to meritorious Bangladeshi nationals to pursue various courses in India at the Under Graduate, Post Graduate and PhD level, except in Medicine. Over 3000 ICCR Scholarships have been granted to Bangladeshi nationals by the Government of India till date. During the academic session 2018-19, following scholarship schemes to pursue various courses in India at the Under Graduate, Post Graduate and PhD level (except in Medicine) are on offer:-

(i) Bangladesh Scholarship Scheme (for undergraduate courses including engineering, post graduate courses and Phd/post doctoral courses);
(ii) India Scholarship Scheme (for undergraduate courses excluding engineering, post graduate courses and Phd/post doctoral courses);

Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 60 percent marks or GPA 3 out of GPA 5 in the qualifying examination. ICCR has developed a portal exclusively for the benefit of the aspiring students who may log on URL https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.inand create individual login ID and password before submitting the applications online. Applicants are requested to apply online individually after reading the instructions. While applying online, candidates may note the following;

a) The candidate/s who are applying for BE/B Tech. courses should have studied Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in their school leaving examinations
b) Applicants should be 18 years of age by July 2018.
c) All students will have to stay in the hostels. No exception for family/ health reasons to stay outside is entertained.

The last date of submission of online application forms on the portal (https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in) is 1700 hours on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The date and venue of English Proficiency Test (EPT) which will be of 30 minutes duration, and date and venue would be intimated in due course.
